Halal Night Life

Peace.

I followed Ajo to Kampong Glam again on Friday night. He warned me that we might be home late but I still wanted to come along with him. We reached there at around 10pm but none of his friends were there. Apparently, Mods have a reputation of not being punctual so we took a ride around town for awhile and five minutes later, his friends arrived so Ajo rode back to the coffee shop.

I was not so quiet amongst his friends that night. We talked about braces. One of his friends, Zul, was going to fix braces onto his teeth next year. Ajo just had to leave to fill up gas with the cute Naufal so that's why I ended up sharing my experience on wearing braces with his friends. But you know what? Ajo already filled up gas before we went to Kampong Glam. He just wanted to tag along with Naufal. I wanted to follow but I resisted the temptation.

While Ajo was gone with Naufal, another of his friend whom I do not know the name came. He looked like a fucking poseur. He looked like he was a clash of budak emo plus Mod. I could just slap his face and cut the hair that was covering 88% of his face. And when he sat down, he put on huge retro sunglasses when it was midnight. DUDE, MIDNIGHT EQUALS TO NO SUN. Then he tried talking to me. He asked me a question and it sounded as though he was asking for tissue.

Me: Huh? Tissue? Takde?
Him: No. I didn't ask for tissue. Pergi Zouk tak?
Me: (I stared at him straight in the face) NO.

DUDE. I was clearly wearing tudong and even my brother does not go clubbing who in the right state of mind would ask me if I went to Zouk?

Anyway, we took a ride around town again, this time with his friends, and Ajo and I were screaming Counting Crow's Accidentally In Love. We passed by Zouk cause Ajo's friends were going clubbing and then we went to Bedok to get something from his friend. While waiting for his friend, Ajo asked me the most weirdest question he could ever ask.

Ajo: Kau ade matair?
Me: Nope. Mane ade. Tak main nie semue.
Ajo: You want to lie to a liar? Haha. Funny ah Ida. Buat kelakar.
Me: Serious. Takde. I have a lot of guy friends. But no boyfriend. And if you think Adam is my boyfriend, he's not. He's my best friend and besides, he's too short.

He laughed and started singing a song by Boyz II Men. After he finished settling things with his friend, we went home. I got home at 0330 hours. These days, Ajo and me have been getting closer. I like it this way cause I can now talk to him easily, joke with him, disturb him and hang out with him. And he also got me a job at Serangoon Gardens Country Club.

As for today, I went to catch Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical. It was fucking good. Stephen Rahman Huges is like fucking hot and gorgeous. AC Mizan was cute as in funny cute. Tiara is beautiful and I rate the musical 7 out of ten. I'm kinda tired to blog about the musical cause I think everyone else is giving reviews.

Alright. That's it for now. Moodles and I'll update soon.

HEY MOD-CARENA!!!

May peace be upon you.

As I've promised, Sharmee returns to make your blog reading experience more exciting and entertainment worthy. So in the mean time, enjoy reading about the past three days of my life where I had lots of fun doing things and throwing my test papers into the bin. Yay for me!

After the History paper which totally sucked, I went to Sarah's place with the usual exam buddies. We ate, drank and were merry as we watched Mean Girls (although I already watched it twice on my computer). We also celebrated Andy's belated birthday and he was so happy to eat the cake and all. But I must say that the cake was kinda bermuak. Haha. I don't know what bermuak is in English.

Then my brother called me asking me to get my ass home that instant. He wanted to bring me out for dinner. He said we were going to Kampung Glam, an area near Arab Street, and he told me to dress nicely. I was thinking we going to eat at Tepak Sirih or some posh restaurant. So I just followed his words without even thinking.

Ajo rode his Vespa. The Beautiful Blue Vespa. It took me up till the Geylang area before my heart could finally beat normally. Before that my heart was beating so fast that I could feel it coming out or something. But the ride was fun! Windy but noisy. My brother and I were singing songs by Amber Pacific while riding over Sheares Bridge. No, make that screaming.

I miss Sheares Bridge, though. I remember the times I capsized there with Sarah in our K2 and at times me and my T1 capsizing alone because of the frigging coast guards.

So when we reached Kampung Glam. Ajo brought me to a coffee shop. COFFEE SHOP. COFFEE SHOP. Yes. And the both of us were dressed like we were attending a wedding. I went off his bike and VOILA!!!

The entire coffee shop was infested with Vespas and guys who were also dressed like Ajo.

AND I WAS THE ONLY GIRL.

I could swear so loudly that Sarah could hear me at Tampines, I think. But it was an interesting experience cause there was a cute guy sitting in front of me. However, he is out of bounds cause he's Ajo's friend. It was funny listening to them talk about their previous lifes. Yes. Lifes. Apparently, all of them went through the same phases as Ajo.

When Ajo was young and brainless, he was a B-Boy. He'll kill me if he knew I publicised this. Then he matured when he was allowed to wear long pants to school. He became a Punk-Rocker. Mohawk, kilts and studded jacket and all. That was my personal favourite. But he lay low on this concept thingy when he entered National Service. Now that he's done serving the frigging government, he's a MOD. Although his music interests are still the same.

I reached home at 0030 hrs that night. With my brother.
