Stressed

My Options:

1. Continue JC and do well enough to get promoted
2. Continue JC and screw up my promos and get retained
3. Quit JC and go to Poly in October
4. Quit school forever and just work the shit out of me

I am so sick and tired of studying right now. Assignments, tutorials, project work and revision. Why the hell did I make the choice of JC? Oh yeah.. I forgot that I allowed myself to succumb to the influence of my peers. Right? NO. I want to take Mass Communications in NTU and that's why I'm sitting for the A levels. It's only been 8 months and I'm already feeling lethargic.

Go slap yourself, Sham!

I need to be focused. I need to just think of school and Unearthed Productions as my life. No more socialising or whatever nonsense till the December holidays. That includes my weekly town outings with my friends, random window shopping, unproductive visits to my sisters' place and the list goes on.

Dear God,

I pray to you for a peaceful mind, one that allows me to concentrate on the studies and nothing else. Please give me faith to just hold on to the remaining 12 months of JC life. I know I can do it but some assurance from you would be wonderful. And I apologize to all my friends whom I have abandoned in one way or another.

Ameen.

Late Note

Friday, August 17, 2007

Here is my long anticipated post of my very fun and exciting National Day weekend.

Wednesday was tiring but really interesting. Went out with Fana and Aisyah to Tekka just to eat chappati that Fana was craving for. Worth the travel, I would say, cause the chappati was really good. Then went on a long bus ride to meet Hariz at Compass Point to do abit of nothing. But the real fun started at night when I helped Adam out at the ASEAN dance thingy at Marriot Hotel. If I wasn't there, I think he would have died! Haha. The ASEAN scholars were dancing as though they have NEVER had fun in their entire life. Poor things, I tell you. Met Ryan and Anavil who apparently was drunk, I think. Then off to Simpang Bedok for supper where the people were staring at us like some idiots just because I was looking exceptionally hot. (HAHA. IN YOUR DREAM SHAM)

Saturday was yet another get-together day out with secondary school buddies. I was in the bus on the way to the interchange to meet Adam then Izzati called and HEY HO, she was in the same bus as me! So she ended up following Adam and I to Archers' Ready!'s performance at The Arts House. Their performance was great, but I just didn't feel the connection anymore. Somehow. Oh let's not get to there, shall we?

I was out in town the entire day after that because apparently, Sasha Bach Band was performing at TIMBRE that same night. Since I couldn't catch them at SingFest, I NEEDED to go TIMBRE desperately. So Sarah joined us as well! That was the best night I ever had. And guess what? Sasha still remembers me! I swear that they are the best! And seriously, having Adam, Izzati, Sarah and myself for the night? A girl could never ask for more. So here are the pictures.

So then on the next day, I was live on Suria Segar! Oh ho ho ho ho!!! Nerve-wrecking experience for me to speak Malay on National Television LIVE! I just loved the make up they put on for me. Ho ho ho. Must admit, I looked pretty on TV.

So ya. That was my fun weekend last week. This weekend is gonna be more fun, I expect. Drama performances and Razif's gig. Yay me.

THE WARRIOR'S CREED

Warriors are dreamers who always maintain altruistic goals bigger than themselves. When warriors have material possessions so do their friends and families because to share is to know true joy.

Warriors aspire to the highest ceiling in life. They chose to live adventurous lives with the primary intent of passing the ideals of this creed on to future generations via their actions and deeds.

Warriors' priorities are God, family, wisdom and success.

Warriors remain constantly on fire with enthusiasm in an effort to illuminate the paths of those aspiring warriors who come from miles around to watch them burn.

Above all else, warriors understand that the seed of a warrior lies dormant in every human soul. The ultimate goal of all warriors is to reveal and nurture those seeds for all who will listen, knowing that their own personal worth will some day be measured by the number of warriors left behind.

The Attack of the Green Eyed Monster

Friday, August 10, 2007

I'm in love with The Killers and The Bravery. Whatever you call the genre, its rocks.

Should I be feeling guilty? Should I be feeling as though I'm to be blamed? Whatever it is, I didn't mean any harm. You know fully well that I click better with guys for some reason. Perhaps this is the reason? The reason being I cannot stand sensitivity girls are made up of.

Tangisan Illusi

Realiti indah bakal menjelma
Kerana aku percaya kata-katamu
Kerana aku bepegang teguh
Pada pendirianku yang mungkin musnah dan
Peribadi yang ku khuatiri hilang
Tapi aku tahu
Perjuangan belum tamat
Arahku masih ke jalan yang telah disediakan
Perjalanan yang
Bergelombang
Dan rumit bagiku

Namun sewenang-wenangnya
Kau mengibarkan bendera putih
Hatiku berhenti seketika
Senyap
Sunyi
Tiada berbunyi

Mungkinkah realiti idaman
Takkan ada di genggaman
Atau mungkinkah sudah
Ditakdirkan Tuhan?

Aku tiada sesiapa
Dalam kegelapan
Tangisan illusi membanjiri kolam pilu

Happy birthday Singapore!

For the first time, I didn't watch the fireworks. AT ALL. But it's okay.. at least I had fun studying.

STUDYING? YOU HAD FUN STUDYING, SHAM??

Shit happens when you're in JC.

Anyway, I needed to announce something.

Please watch Suria Segar on Sunday at 10 am. Have fun watching me speak proper Malay. And cikgu Halimah, you're gonna love me for that. =)
